Bail application – ITC claimed fraudulently – Petitioner submits arrest memo with no written reasons and statement recorded under Section 70 of Act of 2017 is also under coercion – CGST Officials clearly points out petitioner availed ITC on basis of forged transactions and also manipulated bills showing transportation of goods – HELD: Bail application dismissed – Hon’ble Apex Court in Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation, (2013) held that economic offences to be dealt with iron hands as such offences are committed with cool calculation and deliberate design and they affect economic fabric of whole country – Court not inclined to enlarge petitioner on bail.
