Introduction

The petitioner, Bhoopal Dutt, a proprietorship firm engaged in the business of works contracts, was registered under the CGST Act, 2017.

The GST registration was cancelled by the Proper Officer through an order dated 23.06.2023 on the ground that the petitioner had failed to furnish GST returns for a continuous period of six months, resulting in cancellation of registration.
