Interim Stay Granted in Challenge to Provisions under GST – The Petitioner challenged specific provisions of the Act and related rules, – as well as several orders and reports issued by authorities. – The court acknowledged that similar challenges are pending in other cases – and issued a notice to the respondents. – The court ordered that the recovery of the disputed amount be stayed, – provided the petitioner pays the demanded amount, – excluding the already deposited tax, in six equal monthly installments. – The court also directed the respondents to file a counter affidavit on the factual aspects of the case. – The case will be listed for further consideration.
